Numerical calculation method of air condensation amount in underground tunnel

In view of the shortage of the existing calculation model and method of air condensation amount, presents a calculation method based on numerical calculation. Analyses the air condensation process in underground tunnel, and establishes the mathematic models of heat and mass exchange. The governing equations composed of air state equation and heat and mass exchange equations are discretized based on cell division method and solved. Dynamically calculates air condensation amount in different tunnel depth at different time.Verification experiment shows that the numerical calculation results agree well with the testing results, and the average relative error of numerical calculation results is 1.66%. The results of numerical calculation and field measurement show that in the front part of the tunnel, the air is cooled in the constant humidity process without air condensation; in the end part of the tunnel, the air is in the process of dehumidifying cooling, and the condensation amount reduces gradually along the length direction of the tunnel.
